I still remember vividly how me and my first love (who happens to be somebody else’s love now though) promised each other how we would visit the epitome of love, the Taj Mahal together. The exquisite beauty, the most beautiful building in this world undoubtedly, the wonder of this world was definitely in the top side of my bucket list always. And finally it all came true.
DREAMS DO COME TRUE
Situations led me to Delhi and ultimately to the Taj itself. The 5 hour-long journey, the scorching heat of August, the overpriced booking (read robbed by the hotel guy) and damn it was all worth it . The pristine white beauty was standing tall in its full glory calling my ever so selfie ready soul to for once forget the self and click this beauty…only to be shaken aloud from the day dreaming by the rowdy local photographers though !! “Madam aise Taj ko pakad k pose kijiye madam” and likes ….
Amidst the surreal daydream, I once again reminded myself in my head to somehow trick my mother to buy me a DSLR the next birthday though!!
Can’t say if I felt love but I definitely felt proud, proud of being born in this country which is so rich in its history, culture and heritage…the pride of being INDIAN (besides the tickets are always cheaper for the Indians … haha ).
THE BEAUTY WITH FULL GALORE OF OVER CROWDING LOCAL TOURISTS…
FINALLY SOME ALONE TIME

SOME ME TIME !!
